Ready for your garage to rock and roll all night and party every day? Break out your checkbook. Mini has teamed up with legendary rock group KISS to create a quartet of customized Countryman crossovers for charity. Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer have applied their trademark style to the exterior of four examples of the 2011 Mini Countryman.

The vehicles, which debuted at the New York Auto Show, each have their own auction listing on eBay Motors, and the proceeds from these auctions will be donated to UNICEF. The organization is working hard to raise money for children affected by the recent disasters in Japan.

These customized Countrymen Countrymans cars aren’t wearing decals. Each vehicle was hand painted by a group of BMW employees who provided the artwork while off the clock. The four vehicles have been named after the members of KISS they mimic; Starchild, The Demon, Spaceman and Catman.

The full press release is located after the jump, and you can check out all four Mini Countryman custom cars in the gallery below.

Video: Infiniti gets in the holiday spirit with two snowball-themed ads

Infiniti Holiday Ad

Infiniti plays in the show with two new holiday ads – Click above to watch video after the jump

Infiniti is getting into the holiday spirit, and it has two new ads that each revolve around one theme: the snowball. The two ad clips are titled “Mischievous” and “Magical,” and the slushy projectile is used in two very different ways in the ads. “Magical” takes a whimsical approach towards spreading holiday bliss, while “Mischievous” takes aim at a certain German competitor, with an all-wheel-drive Infiniti G sedan playing the role of the snowball’s co-star.

We would love to see more snowy driving action with the G, but at least the spots get us in the right frame of mind for the season. Both ad spots are available for your viewing after the jump.

First look at Disney’s new Cars-themed adventure park ride

Disney Cars ride – Click above for image gallery
When we were but knee-high auto obssessives, our two favorite rides at Disney World were Space Mountain and Indy Speedway. One gave us a genuine feeling of speed while the other let us pretend for a few fleeting moments that our driver’s license wasn’t quite so far away. Now it looks like youngin’s out there will have a new car-themed attraction to check out in the Magic Kingdom, or more specifically, Disney’s California Adventure Park. Motor World Hype has managed to get their hands on a few quick shots of the amusement park’s new Cars-themed ride.

Called Radiator Springs Racers, the attraction is set to open sometime in 2012. In addition to the marginally-creepy looking cars in this particular ride, Disney is planning a whole section of the park dedicated to the Pixar film. The opening should coincide nicely with the Summer 2011 release of Cars 2… and it may just give us still-car-obsessed adults a good reason to revisit our youth.

Jeep Wrangler to receive Call of Duty special edition

If you are a fan of both video games and limited-edition theme vehicles, then today is your lucky day. Chrysler has announced that they will be building a Call of Duty-themed Jeep Wrangler to coincide with the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops game. The video game is set to be released on November 9th, 2010 and the CoD Wrangler will be offered for sale around that time as well. According to our friends at Joystiq, the Wrangler will make numerous appearances throughout the game so you can drive your Jeep on screen for hours then hop into the real thing to give your thumbs a break.

Pricing is yet to be announced, but a base 2011 Jeep Wrangler will set you back $22,045. If you’re interested in the Call of Duty: Black Ops Jeep Wrangler then you better start saving your quarters now. Thanks for the tip, Vitor!
