If you missed any of the action from last week’s Top Marques Monaco show, we’ve got you covered. This five-minute clip condenses all the glitzy highlights of this year’s show into one horsepower-drenched summary. The show was a seriously drool-worthy affair, featuring a wide range of exotics; from classy, composed offerings from the likes of Aston Martin, to the delicious Pagani Huayra to the completely silly Tirrito Ayrton R.

High-end tuning companies always make a strong showing at Top Marques Monaco, and this year was no different. Gemballa’s two new offerings, the Tornado and the Mistrale, broke cover after the company’s recent troubles. Add to that a host of offerings from ABT, Koenigsegg and Marussia, and you’ve got a great way to kill five minutes. Click past the jump for all the exotic glory. Thanks for the tip, HF!

2012 BMW M5 – Click above to watch the video after the jump

As of now, we’ve seen plenty of photos and footage of the upcoming 2012 BMW M5, and now the grandaddy of videos has just been released. This time, BMW has leaked nearly 30 minutes of the M5 undergoing cold weather testing in the Alps. There’s plenty of everything here, from nice stills to rolling footage of the upcoming M car bounding through the snow.

The F10 M5 is rapidly approaching its debut, first at a private BMW press conference at the end of this week, then at the Shanghai Motor Show in mid-April. We already know that the car will have a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 replacing the outgoing car’s V10, and Americans will still be able to get a traditional stick shift. We’re ready, BMW. Hop the jump for the video.

It may be calling out for some Peter Gabriel backing-music, but Michal Bakiewicz has put together what may be our new favorite “watch a car come to life” video to date.

Evolution of the Drifting Angle (Half a Century Sideways) – Click above to watch video after the jump

Helmut Deimel has been involved in the sport of rallying since the Seventies. During that time he has participated and interacted with some of the all-time greatest drivers to ever click into a racing harness. Deimel’s involvment has also allowed him to cultivate a vast archive that spans 50 years of rallying history. He’s put it all together into one amazing 90-minute video called Evolution of the Drifting Angle (Half a Century Sideways).

Black-and-white footage gives way to color just as rear-wheel-drive yields to all-wheel-drive. Deimel’s film traces the history of a sport where drivers often find themselves driving through the side window. It’s a rather long video to watch over the internet, but it’s worth sitting through every second. You know you already wasted plenty of time on the Internet so click past the jump, let the video load and spend the next hour-and-a-half watching an excellent video showing the evolution of one of the most exciting forms of motorsports.

Video: Over 11 minutes of BMW 1 Series M Coupe and E30 M3 hotness

BMW 1 Series M Coupe and E30 M3 – Click to watch the video after the jump

The beauty of the BMW 1 Series M Coupe isn’t that the bean-counters let their best performance engineers have at the smallest car in the range. The real beauty is that the car goes back to the very roots of the M division, before the M3 went all V8 on us and took a hefty weight penalty in the process.

To illustrate the point, BMW took the new coupe out to the track, and brought along its spiritual predecessor, the original E30 M3. Fortunately for us, they filmed the encounter – all 11 and a half minutes of it. And while half of it is stock promotional footage, there’s a good few minutes of on-track action spliced in for good measure. Check it out in the video after the jump.

Video: 60 Minutes interviewing the Stig on Sunday

The Stig on 60 Minutes

The Stig on 60 Minutes – Click above to watch video after the jump

Good news if you haven’t had your fill of Stigate just yet: the world’s ex-famous tame racing driver will show up on this week’s 60 Minutes. According to CBS, host Steve Croft spent some time across the pond in an attempt to get a little closer to both the man in white and Top Gear. Croft even strapped into a Chevrolet Camaro SS for a little one-on-one time with the Stig himself. Unfortunately, The Stig didn’t turn out to be the quote machine the CBS producers had hoped.

Judging by the short trailer for the piece, it looks like Croft also spent some time with a few of the more talkative people involved in putting the show together, including Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond and executive producer Andy Wilman. The show airs this Sunday, October 24 at 7 p.m. EST. Hit the jump for a look at the teaser.

Video: Four minutes of Ferrari 458 Challenge testing at Monza

Ferrari 458 Challenge testing at Monza – Click above to watch the video

The curves. The Power. The… Ferrariness. It’s hard to get too much of the 458 Italia Challenge, and, luckily, we’ve come across some video of the race-ready Ferrari testing at Monza. The four-minute flick only shows a few angles of the pride of Maranello, but what we can guarantee is crisp images, ridiculously perfect exhaust melodies and a powerful desire to drive a 458 on track. At a few points it looks like the 458 Challenge isn’t being pushed too hard, but every now and again we would catch a glimpse of the glowing red front brake rotors, assuring us that the driver is giving the lighter, lower 458 a considerable workout. Hit the jump to enjoy the video for yourself, if only to hear just how wonderful the Challenge sounds.

Neiman Marcus Camaro convertible sells out in 3 minutes

Neiman Marcus Edition Chevrolet Camaro Convertible – Click above for high-res image gallery

The Neiman Marcus Christmas Book is chock full of high-end products that most of us either couldn’t or shouldn’t afford. But when it comes to a hot-looking, limited edition Camaro Convertible, even a $75,000 price tag isn’t enough to scare some of us off. Neiman Marcus and General Motors sold all 100 copies of the exclusive drop-top in a mere three minutes. That’s about $2.5 million worth of metal every minute; a sizable amount of dough even for a company the size and shape of GM.

The 100 of a kind Camaro features special Deep Bordeaux paint with like-colored convertible top, plus leather trim that isn’t available in any other Bow Tie pony car. Power comes from the same 426 horsepower, 6.2-liter V8 that motivates the Camaro SS.

So if you were hoping to get your hands on a Neiman Marcus Camaro Convertible, you’d better know one of the 100 people who actually bought one. We’re sure you’re not too heartbroken, though. After all, the rest of us can score a topless Camaro starting at about $30,000. Hit the jump for the GM press release.

Jeep torn down and rebuilt in under four minutes

A Jeep is torn down then rebuilt in under four minutes – Click above to watch the video after the jump

Remember the video where we got to see how long it takes to put a BMW Z4 GT3 together? It took West Coast Racing 600 hours to complete that task. Canada’s finest, on the other hand, think that time is laughable. A team of soldiers from the Canadian Armed Forces can put together a Jeep in far less time. Not only that, they start with a fully-assembled and running vehicle, tear it down then put it back together again… in under four minutes. Admittedly, though, we imagine that building the Z4 is a bit more complex than the work-ready Jeep seen here.

It’s nothing short of awesome, especially since it normally takes us four hours and a 12-pack of beer just to change our brakes.

Whatever you just did in the last four minutes, it’s not as cool as what these guys accomplished. See for yourself after the jump. Thanks for the tip, Duy Pham!
