Some cars look alright with decals. A Porsche 911 GT3 RS almost looks naked without them. But a Bentley? The Continental Supersports Convertible (don’t ask us why it had to be a convertible) that four-time rally champion Juha Kankkunen drove to a record 205.48 miles per hour in Finland was adorned with more stickers than a first-grader’s lunchbox. Fortunately, the special edition commemorative model that followed was decidedly bereft of such livery. But now Bentley’s offering something in between with a new appearance package.

The ISR Mulliner package adds red-accented wheels and a red stripe with the words “Supersports ISR” running down the car’s flanks in a somewhat retro Porsche style. Which is fine, now that Porsche and Bentley are becoming sister brands under the Volkswagen Group umbrella. But we can’t help but feel that Bentley’s new CEO, Wolfgang Dürheimer, who came to the job from his position as head of Porsche’s R&D department, should have left this particular element behind in Stuttgart. Follow the jump for the full press release and scope out the images in the gallery below.

The graphics are installed by a professional, but can be removed at anytime and leave no residue. You can get graphics for your Ford Fiesta, Mustang and Taurus, and now the 2011 F-150 SVT Raptor joins the wrapped-up bunch. There will but one customization option: a black hood inspired by the racing Broncos of the 1970s – wilder trucks in wilder days. As well as lending a little bit of old-school-style badass, a side benefit of the new graphic is a reduction of glare coming off the hood. The digital mud bedside graphic available since the Raptor’s debut remains an option. Follow the jump for the press release and see what Ford hath wrought in the gallery of high-res photos below.

2011 Mustang 5.0 convertible with 'clear hood' graphic applique

Ford graphics package for the 2011 Mustang – Click above for high-res image gallery

Heads up, pony fans; Ford has just released the details on its new graphic program for the 2011 Mustang. Just like with the pint-sized Fiesta, the company will let you slather the muscle car in any number of graphics packages to suit your tastes. The designs vary from tasteful stripes and accents to some cringetastic pieces like the “clear hood” 5.0 shown above and various tribal decals. Jersey Shore, here we come.

Ford has priced the most of the vinyl packages at $299, though prices vary depending on how complicated the design is and how much vinyl is used in the process. Near as we can tell, the priciest of the lot are the reverse stripes that cover the majority of the top of the car in the sticky stuf. That package will set you back close to $1,000.

You can even pick from a number of colors to suit your vehicle, including a carbon-fiber look material. Please, for the love of the ponies, stay away from that one. You can play around with the configurator yourself at the Ford site. Word has it that the next vehicle to get the vinyl treatment will be the Taurus starting next month. Stay tuned.
